A Philadelphia man is charged with murder and attempted murder in a shooting that left one woman dead and a Pleasantville woman wounded early Monday morning.

Gregg Page, 34, was arrested in Philadelphia later that day, along with two brothers who are charged with hindering apprehension.

Police were called to the area of 60 N. Main Ave. near the Flagship Resort at about 4:41 a.m., for the report of two females severely injured, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office

Carley Elbert, 32, of Sewell, was unconscious and unresponsive, according to the report. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kamille Stewart, 29, of Pleasantville, was conscious with multiple wounds. She was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's Trauma Unit.

Preliminary investigation revealed that both females appear to have been shot in the head, according to the Prosecutor's Office. The official cause and manner of Elbert’s death are pending an autopsy by the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office.

The investigation led detectives to Philadelphia, where Page and brothers Ryan and Ramir Schenck, ages 30 and 27, were arrested.

They are in the Philadelphia Correctional Facility pending their extradition to Atlantic County.

This incident is currently being investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department. The Philadelphia Police Department and Federal Bureau  of Investigations (Philadelphia Office) also assisted with the investigation.

BreakingAC previously reported that surveillance video shows three males and three females jumping over the rail to the jetty, a source told BreakingAC.

The three males are then seen running.

It was not clear if there was a third woman at the scene.

An employee heard a bang they originally thought was fireworks, but realized it was a gunshot and called police, the source said.

A photo seen by BreakingAC shows the deceased woman face down in the rocks. While some media outlets have said the woman was wearing a swimsuit, it was not clear if the black clothes she had on were a swimsuit or shorts.
