This week’s Parks on Tap destination is Matthias Baldwin Park, designed by artist Athena Tacha. Explore the park's distinctive terraced design, featuring lush greenery and captivating rock formations while enjoying food, drinks, and fun in a natural green space.
Parks on Tap was designed as a traveling beer garden by a partnership between Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and FCM Hospitality. Proceeds benefit the Fairmount Park Conservancy.

SINKANE, August 9
WXPN Free At Noon welcomes Sinkane, a Sudanese-American musician who blends krautrock, prog rock, electronica, free jazz and funk rock with Sudanese pop. He is signed to City Slang Records. Born to college professors in London, he lived in Sudan, then moved to the U.S. when he was five, and lived for some time in Ohio.

Heavy titans and cultural phenomenon SLIPKNOT’s North American portion of their Here Comes The Pain Tour will make a stop at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on Saturday night. This year, the nine are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their seminal debut album, Slipknot, which catapulted the band back in 1999.

Rainbow Girls w/ AC Sapphire, August 10th
City Winery Philadelphia presents Rainbow Girls w/ AC Sapphire live on August 10th at 7:30pm. Ardmore Rock N' Ride - Main Line Bike Race & Music Festival, August 11
This outdoor music festival and bike race also serves as a community fundraiser supporting Narberth Ambulance. Two outdoor stages in downtown Ardmore will feature Rebirth Brass Band, Octave Cat, Yellowman, Stella Ruze, Remember Jones, Omar's Hat, Marielle Kraft and Johnny Shortcake.
