That booming sound you heard overheard this morning is, courtesy of the Italian Air Force, 6ABC reports. The famous Frecce Tricolori flew over the city in a 10-jet formation trailed by their signature red, white and green smoke.
The precision team stopped here between performances at the New York International Air Show and the Ocean City Maryland as part of their first North American tour in more than 30 years.
