The Dormouse - High Tea for Tots, includes mini tea service and a selection of sweet treats. For an additional $25, enjoy the Posh Nosh upgrade and sample an added selection of some house favorite, liver parfait, roast beef and steelhead trout crudo.
Elwood
Elwood describes itself as “tea service meets country cuisine unlike any other afternoon culinary experience in Philadelphia.”
Their concept is to feature the trappings of a traditional tea service spun up to highlight Pennsylvania Dutch-inspired specialties like homemade scrapple, snickerdoodle, shoo-fly cake, and datch (PA Dutch quickbread), paired with a selection of teas from local providers Premium Steap and Oma Herbal Teas.
Mary Cassatt Tea Room
Tucked inside The Rittenhouse, the Mary Cassatt Tea Room offers an intimate escape and the continuance of the age-old tradition of afternoon tea. This Philadelphia tea room celebrates the traditions of the great tea cultures, adding a dash of local flavor and some re-imagined elements. The tea selection spans the world, from tisanes of local herbs and flowers to grand black and green teas of Asia. Stir
Through September 9, experience afternoon tea at Stir at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, inspired by the exhibition, Mary Cassatt at Work, which features 130 pieces by the French Impressionist and Philadelphia native.
The Afternoon tea menu features a selection of Blooming Tea, Gougères, Seasonal Macarons, Yuzu Madeleines, Petit Fours, Jamon Beurre and Cucumber sandwiches, served on specially-commissioned handmade teacups, saucers and stands from an ongoing partnership with Stir and the ceramics students at Arcadia University. Thursday through Monday.
The Random Tea Room and Curiosity Shop
This teacup sized space is folded into the fabric of Philadelphia. Guests immediately feel the elevated vibrations of the environment and positive energy from the past decade of Random Tea Room customers, artists and performers. Their extensive menu features an international selection of teas as well as an Herbal Apothecary & Bump Bar (Tea Additions).
