Four men were shot outside a store in Philadelphia on Wednesday night, the fourth shooting in the city that day.
At least two gunmen opened fire along the 4000 block of Lancaster Avenue around 10:48 p.m., according to NBC Philadelphia, at two separate locations before fleeing. Cops said the gunmen fired around 30 shots in total. Four men were injured; three were reportedly in critical condition while the other victim was in stable condition. Police were still working to determine information about the suspects' descriptions.
The shootings -- six people were injured in three separate incidents earlier in the day -- came with Mayor Cherelle Parker out of town for the Democratic National Convention. But the city's crime rate is down since she took office -- officials said there was an over 40% reduction in shootings earlier this summer.
