Pennsylvania, and its 19 Electoral College votes, will very likely decide the next president.
Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign made the obvious clear near the end of the Democratic National Convention.
The presidential election will almost assuredly be decided by Pennsylvania and its 19 Electoral College votes.
Former President Donald Trump and Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance have been all over the state in recent weeks. Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz made their first joint appearance together here. And Harris' team revealed Thursday it has deployed more resources here than in any other battleground state.
Julie Chavez Rodriguez, Harris' campaign manager, told a Pennsylvania delegates breakfast that the state is "our largest operation to date" with over 300 staffers on the ground at 36 field offices, according to The Inquirer.
"We know that Pennsylvania is core to our pathway to victory." she said.
The same could be said by the Trump campaign. And likely even more so. While Harris could conceivably find a way to reach 270 electoral votes without Pennsylvania, there is virtually no path for Trump without the state.
