Warrington Township Police said one woman is in Bucks County jail and another has an active warrant for their alleged involvement in a shoplifting incident at TJ Maxx at 1035 Main St.

Sherkeeia King, 36, and Whadiyah Edwards, both of Philadelphia, allegedly entered the store on Aug. 8, picked up a cart, and selected numerous items, before leaving the store without paying.

The amount of stolen items was $719.49, police said.

An investigation identified King and Edwards as suspects, police said. Authorities said King was arrested and in Montgomery County jail on an unrelated incident.

On Nov. 27, King was arraigned on new charges before Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman, who set bail at 10% of $150,000 cash, police said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Edwards can contact police at 215-343-3311 or submit a tip anonymously.
