Wine Garden, the beloved seasonal outdoor urban oasis, is bringing the magic of Christmas indoors with the debut of Black Girl Holiday Magic Holiday Pop-Up. Located at the Annex at Divine Lorraine (699 N. Broad Street), this groundbreaking experience is the first Black-owned, female-owned Christmas bar in Philadelphia — and in Pennsylvania.
The creative force behind this holiday wonderland is the dynamic mother-daughter duo Nazaret Teclesambet and Favian Sutton, founders of Wine Garden. They’ve partnered with Executive Chef Natalie Maronski (Bravo's Top Chef contestant) and DEL (Robert Del Femine) of Underground Concepts to craft an immersive celebration of Black culture, beauty, strength, and tradition. Inspired by Wine Garden’s signature elegance and artistry, the pop-up will feature vibrant decor, fresh florals, curated art, and enchanting photo opportunities.

A New Chapter for Wine Garden
Known for its seasonal summer pop-ups, Wine Garden is stepping into the holiday spotlight for the first time. "We wanted to bring some Black Girl Magic to the holiday season," said co-founder Nazaret Teclesambet. The idea was inspired by increased demand for Wine Garden to host events outside the summer months. Their collaboration with Maronski and DEL adds even more culinary and creative power to this visionary experience.
This enchanting winter experience offers Philadelphians and visitors alike a chance to support a Black-owned, women-led business while stepping into a world of holiday whimsy, celebration, and tradition. Tickets are available for purchase now, with special packages for couples, groups, family outings and holiday buy-outs. Groups and organizations can reach out to Wine Garden for more information.
