Philadelphia police told reporters Wednesday that they have taken a second teenager into custody following the shooting outside the Dilworth Park ice rink last Friday that injured three other teens, one critically.

According to the police, search warrants were served for two suspects, both 14-years-old. One of those suspects was taken into custody. Police are still searching for the other teen.

All are being charged with aggravated assault, among other offenses. The original suspect taken into custody, also 14-years-old, was brought in shortly after the incident occurred last week.

According to police reports, four or five gunshots were fired last Friday afternoon following an argument amongst a group of teens.

The three victims - two 14-year-olds and one 15-year-old - were rushed to nearby hospitals. Two are in stable condition while one who was shot in the face remains in critical condition.

Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore told reporters that those in custody have been charged with aggravated assault, among other offenses, but added that there are other individuals who were there on Friday who were also involved and that the goal is to make sure they are all charged.

Police ask that anyone with information to please call them at 215-686-TIPS
