Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum

The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum stands as a premier collection of racing sports cars, honoring the history and evolution of these remarkable machines. Curated over five decades by Dr. Frederick Simeone, the museum houses more than 75 historically significant cars. Rotating exhibits showcase the competitive spirit, complemented by Demonstration Days where cars are frequently taken onto our expansive three-acre lot at the rear of the museum.

Elfreth's Alley

Elfreth’s Alley stands as the oldest, continuously inhabited residential street in the United States. During the 18th century, it housed artisans and tradespeople who were integral to Colonial Philadelphia's fabric. Businesses such as grocers, shoemakers, cabinet makers and tailors operated from the first floors of their homes, reflecting the era's entrepreneurial spirit. Amidst modern Philadelphia's growth, Elfreth’s Alley remains a nostalgic testament to early American life, meticulously preserving three centuries of architectural evolution with its quaint flower boxes, shutters, Flemish bond brickwork and other historic details. Two adjacent houses, built in the 1700s, now function as a museum and gift shop.

Even if you don’t stay for long, this book store is worth the visit.
