Or, immerse yourself in a cultural experience at the Chinese Lantern Festival and Philadelphia Taco Fest. No matter your tastes, you're bound to find an option that satisfies your appetite.

Jason Aldean, August 2

Country music star Jason Aldean is bringing his Highway Desperado tour to Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on August 2. He’ll bring with him special guests Lauren Alaina, Hailey Whitters, Chase Matthew, Austin Snell and Dee Jay Silver.

Ollabelle, August 2

20 years after their first performance at Arden Gild Hall, Ollabelle returns to the venue on August 2 as part of a very limited five-date 20th anniversary tour. The opening act will be local favorite The Honey Badgers, a contemporary folk duo bringing their sincere Americana sound to stages across the east coast. Bring chairs for this outdoor concert on the Shady Grove Stage.

Ice Spice, August 2

Breakout rap sensation Ice Spice drops her first full-length album just a few days before her Y2K! Tour hits the Met on August 2. 
While still early in her career, Ice Spice has already collaborated with the likes of Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress and Taylor Swift.

This is Hardcore, August 2 - 4

Over the course of three days, more than 40 bands will take the stages at Underground Arts & Franklin Music Hall for This is Hardcore 2024. Featuring acts like E Town Concrete, Shattered Realm, Morning Again, Balmora, Cold As Life, 100 Demons, Sunami, Frozen Soul, Black Flag "First Four Years," 7 Seconds, Negative Approach and many more.

Philly Taco Fest, August 3 & 4

Sample over 75 different styles of tacos at Philly Taco Fest August 3 and 4 at Xfinity Live!     Philly Taco Fest.  DJs, live bands and authentic Mariachi music will provide entertainment. Guests can sip from multiple margarita bars, try their hand at ax throwing and ride the mechanical bull in addition to other games. There’s also a kids zone with face-painting and bounce houses, making it a fun day for the whole family.

The Doobie Brothers, August 3

The Doobie Brothers’ are celebrating 50 years with a documentary, a new album in the works and a tour, stopping at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on August 3. Listen to the iconic music of members Patrick Simmons, Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald and John McFee with hits like Give Me The Beat Boys, Listen To The Music and Takin It To The Streets.

Chinese Lantern Festival, Through August 18

Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with the Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival in Franklin Square. Immerse yourself in a world of larger-than-life illuminated lanterns and displays, including a 200-foot-long dragon. There’s also the Franklin Square Fountain light show, Parx Liberty Carousel, Philly Mini Golf, cultural performances and authentic Chinese food options through August 18.
