Scott Franzke is no stranger to big moments and big calls. But after Nick Castellanos' game-winning hit on Sunday, Castellanos rushed to his son Liam to celebrate. It was a touching display between father and child, and it hit Franzke hard.

Franzke's father, Robert, passed away in May of this year. Robert Franzke--who went by Bob--was 91 years old.

"Nick Castellanos racing over to the backstop," says Franzke on the call, his gifted voice beginning to break. "His son Liam is there, waiting for him. How 'bout that?" Franzke's broadcast partners on WIP took over from there.

Back in May, Franzke's colleague Tom McCarthy paid tribute to Bob Franzke on the Phillies television broadcast.

Franzke likely wasn't the only one choked up by the Castellanos moment. Among the wildness of NLDS game two on the field, the celebration was a sweet reminder that baseball is often much bigger than the game itself.
