Young Hero Speaks For All Phillies Fans

  • Phillies

"I wanted them to WIN. And I wanted to go to the PARADE." [Half growl/half cry]

Exactly.

That's how we all feel, even if societal norms prevent some of us from expressing it properly.

We must honor those who speak truth to power. And the child in this video, posted to TikTok by a comedian named Jay Black (@jayblackisfunny), speaks nothing but truth here. Society (represented by the parental figure in the front seat), wants Phillies fans (the child) to quietly accept the disaster that was the NLDS.

But no. We're not going out like that. We're going out in a wild, messy-crying, snot-bubbly rage. And we just might take Rob Thomson or Alec Bohm or [insert your favorite postseason villain] with us.

The best part might be when the Flyers catch a stray:

"Honey the Flyers might win!"

"They won't."

Our young hero is 1000% Philly Sports Fan. Happy Flyers Opening Day!
