Tractor trailer flips onto side on 276 Eastbound off-ramp Wednesday morning

The incident occurred shortly before 11:15 a.m. in Upper Dublin.

One person was taken to an area hospital by Plymouth Community Ambulance Wednesday morning after an 18-wheeler tractor-trailer flipped over on the off-ramp of 276 East to Route 309 and eastbound Pennsylvania Turnpike in Upper Dublin Township. 

Emergency crews were dispatched to the accident at 11:13 a.m., per Montgomery County emergency radio traffic.


The tractor-trailer, owned by Stoughton Lease in Wisconsin, sustained front-end damage to the cab and damage to the trailer, per reports from the scene. 

The off-ramp traffic and traffic entering 276 Eastbound are reduced to one lane.

Harmonville Fire was assisted at the scene by Pennsylvania State Police and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
