Jalen Hurts' Contract Apparently Forbids Him From Golfing

Jalen Hurts was present during a round of golf with former President Barack Obama, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie and running back Saquon Barkley earlier this week, but he didn't golf. 

Hurts told the assembled media Wednesday — a group that included John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia — that one of the terms of his contract is that he's not allowed to golf: 

This is interesting. It's not uncommon for players to be banned from snowboarding or playing basketball via the terms of their contracts because those activities present relatively high injury risk. In theory, golf doesn't. But when the team gives you a five-year/$255 million contract that guarantees $179 million, you stop playing golf if they want you to. 

And based on Hurts' swing, perhaps golf presents more of an injury risk to him than most:
