Local police are asking for the public’s help in identifying an unknown man who attempted to enter an Ambler home on Sunday, Sept. 1.

The Ambler Borough Police Department released information on Tuesday afternoon regarding an incident which occurred around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday morning on the 200 block of North Main Street in Ambler. A man, who was captured on a doorbell camera, was reported by a local resident who claimed that the man was attempting to enter their home.

The photo of the man is being distributed in the hopes of identifying this person. Anyone with information is asked to call the Ambler Borough Police Department at 215-643-6444 or by email to Detective Ian Stanley at [email protected] or Sergeant Chad Cassel at [email protected].
