South Jersey Gas Presents The Downbeach Seafood Festival, Saturday, Sept 14th and Sunday, Sept 15th
The team at Good Team Tricycle will once again transform Ventnor's Ski Beach into a seafood lover's paradise featuring approximately 25 different local and regional seafood restaurants and purveyors serving up their favorite seafaring dishes.
Steve Freeman With most of the restaurants attending being brick-and-mortar Atlantic County restaurants, The Downbeach Seafood festival will allow attendees to experience this seaside community as a culinary destination. It is also an excellent opportunity for foodies and food seekers to meet some of Atlantic County's most unique chefs and restaurateurs, all while eating their tasty creations.
Programming for The Downbeach City Seafood Festival also includes children's activities and amusements, live sand sculpting, live music, complimentary demos and seminars, The Great Brews of NJ tasting tent and a crab cake eating competition, to name a few.
Steve Freeman In honor of National Hunger Action Month, The Downbeach Seafood Festival will support the Community Food Bank of New Jersey with the proceeds of the widely-popular Chowder Cook-Off, all of which will benefit the Food Bank. This cook-off will also allow participants to sample chowder from some of the finest restaurants in Atlantic County.
