Live! Night Market, Thursday, September 12 

Bringing the first of its kind to the Stadium Complex, Live! Night Market will feature nearly 400  local vendors with artwork, live music, food trucks, kids’ activities and more. The free outdoor event will take place outside in Xfinity Live’s valet lot and outdoor plaza and part of G Lot (Wells Fargo Center) from 5pm-10pm.


Devon Fall Classic, Thursday, September 12 through Sunday, September 15 

The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair (DHSCF) is the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse show in the United States. Devon attracts competitors, spectators and visitors from around the world and is more than just a standard equestrian competition. The fairgrounds are traditionally filled with exclusive Devon souvenirs, boutique shopping, unique food, an art gallery and an expansive Midway featuring a ferris wheel, carousel and games for children of all ages.

      

Navy Yard Night Festival, Thursday, September 12 

The Navy Yard Night Festival is the perfect opportunity to blow off steam, enjoy the weather and meet some fellow Philadelphians. This event will include food trucks from their beloved Food Truck Lineup, live music, yard games and much more. This event is free but registration is highly encouraged. 


Nightmare Before Christmas - and Friends, through October 31

Craftsman Row Saloon is revamping its Halloween pop-up experience with a Tim Burton-inspired theme. This year’s event, "Nightmare Before Christmas - and Friends," incorporates characters from Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas," "Beetlejuice" and "Wednesday." Starting Friday, the venue will be decked out with an extensive array of Halloween decorations, including 2,000 additional lights, hundreds of skulls, 500 more feet of cobwebs and numerous floating ghouls.

New features include Beetlejuice-themed booths, skeleton walls, and spooky candles. The menu boasts Halloween-themed food items like pumpkin mac n cheese, witches' fingers, and Jack-O’-Lantern Guacamole, along with extravagant milkshakes adorned with giant cookies. The bar offers special cocktails such as the Blood Bag and Pumpkin King Marg, along with seasonal beers and keepsake festive glasses.

      

Shady Brook Farms FallFest, Friday, September 13 

Experience the magic of the season during FallFest at Shady Brook Farm. Navigate your way through the 4-acre corn maze, hand-pick your perfect pumpkin and immerse yourself in the beautiful sunflower fields. Keep the fun rolling with whimsical wagon rides, live, toe-tapping tunes and apple picking straight from the tree. 


Market of the Macabre At Laurel Hill East Cemetery, Saturday, September 14

Featuring 80+ local and regional artists and vendors, the magical and morbidly curious 2024 Market of the Macabre will take place this Saturday. Peruse among historic tombstones for handmade items, assorted oddities and taxidermy, antiques, jewelry, spiritual goods, clothing, original artwork and more.

Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts Festival, Saturday, September 14

The 40th annual Fall for the Arts Festival will take place between the 8000 and 8600 blocks of Germantown Avenue with an outdoor arts and crafts marketplace. The family- and pet-friendly event will feature live demonstrations, children's activities, live music, culinary delights and boutique shopping. Enjoy a variety of artistic displays and sales, including paintings, sculpture, pottery, and jewelry from over 200 artists and vendors from the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. Visitors can also savor local cuisine and shop for fashion trends while exploring the neighborhood.


Mexican Independence Day Festival, Saturday, September 14  

The Mexican Independence Day Festival, part of the PECO Multicultural Series, will be held at Independence Blue Cross RiverRink. This free, public event features traditional Mexican crafts, performances by renowned Mexican and local artists, and various children's activities. A highlight will be the “Grito de Independencia” ceremony, performed on stage by the Consul of Mexico in Philadelphia, marking the start of the Mexican Independence movement.
