 Check out a little rundown of events in the North Penn area for the next week – and have some fun!


Hilltown Township Vol. Fire Co. holds its annual fundraiser “Wines on the Hill” Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1530 Augsburg Dr., Hilltown. All proceeds from the event go to the fire company. The fundraising event is the largest project for the fire company, which serves citizens in Hilltown, New Britain, and Hatfield townships.

The festival features a variety of vineyards, craft breweries and distilleries. Live music, exhibitors, vendors and raffles can be enjoyed throughout the day.

Tommy Greene and Dickie Noles will make an appearance, as part of the Darren Daulton Foundation, from noon to 1:30 p.m. A silent auction at the event will have some autographed memorabilia donated from the Foundation.



Morgan Log House & History Research Center holds its popular Tavern Night Fundraiser Saturday starting at 4 p.m. The event in at 850 Weikel Road in Towamencin Township features live music, entertainment, food and fun. The cost is $65 per person and you can buy tickets at MyPhillyTickets.com here.

Other features include a Colonial Tavern Bar and Log House Cocktail Bar from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with beer from Well Crafted and Local Tap/Favorite Child. The event is catered by Chef Chipper & AAA Catering, with food beginning at 5:30 p.m. Bar trivia follows at 7 p.m. During the event, attendees can take tours of the Log House and live historians will perform demonstrations.



Philly Funk Authority grooves Upper Gwynedd’s Concerts in the Park on Wednesday night at 7 at 1 Parkside Place. Bring a blanket, lawn chairs, family, friends, and rock out to the music until 8:30 p.m. at the Debarth Amphitheater.



Central Schwenkfelder Church holds its Country Fair Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the church at 2101 S. Valley Forge Road in Worcester Township. The old-fashioned country fair features treasures and antiques, bargains among used books and clothing, and fascinating vehicles at the classic car show and model train display. There will also be children’s games and prizes. All proceeds go toward church missions.



Chick-fil-A Lansdale, at 210 Forty Foot Road, holds Late Night Cow Bingo on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The public is invited to grab a snack, make a minimum purchase of $5, and get a bingo card to win prizes.



Hey is that a V-10? Mine’s a K-9. This Saturday, starting at 9 a.m., the 10th Annual SPCA Car show takes place at 651 Main Street in Harleysville, benefitting three shelter locations in Montgomery County for food, medical care, and shelter for pets. Registration begins at 8 a.m. One entrant in the car show will win a 4-hour fishing or sightseeing trip for five people out of Avalong, NJ, valued at $500.

The show has room for 200 cars and there will be 32 trophies, including Best in Show, Best Engine, Best Interior and more.
