Philly food delivery driver shot, suspect at large


Cops are searching for a gunman who shot a food delivery driver on Monday in East Mount Airy.


The driver, who was working for DoorDash, was hospitalized in critical condition as of Monday night, according to ABC 6. The 29-year-old man was shot in the back.


The gunman approached the man around 5 p.m. The victim say the shooter had a gun and attempted to run; at least six shots were fired. Police said they do not have a motive; they said it may have been an attempted carjacking or robbery. There were small private cameras in the vicinity of the shooting, according to NBC Philadelphia.
