Popular NBA news aggregator Evan Sidery grabbed some early-August eyes on Wednesday by relaying that the Sixers are bringing back the fan-favorite retro uniforms for this season:

While it's difficult to pin exactly when the team became less subtle about the return of those uniforms, it is true - those beloved Allen Iverson-era jerseys are returning this season.
The franchise intends to celebrate the anniversary of the 2001 team that made the Finals, etching the iconic Iverson crossover over Tyronn Lue in Game 1 in Sixers history.
More information will be shared in the coming weeks, a source told On Pattison. The tribute will be reflected in their uniforms at select games this season.
But the time has come. If you are a fan dating back to the Iverson era, your wish is being granted.
