Food lovers, mark your calendars. After a five-year break, Manayunk Restaurant Week is back, bringing 20 of the neighborhood’s most popular restaurants together for a weeklong dining event from September 8 through 14.
Participating eateries will offer special two- and three-course prix fixe menus at price points of $15, $25, $35, and $45 (per person, plus tax and gratuity). Options range from casual lunches with co-workers to romantic date nights, with cuisine spanning American comfort dishes, global flavors, and everything in between.
Diners can look forward to an impressive lineup that includes Bar Jawn, Blondie, Chabaa Thai Bistro / Yanako, Jake’s & Cooper’s, Lucky’s Last Chance, The Goat’s Beard, Zesty’s, and many more. Menus feature both new culinary creations and beloved signature dishes, along with seasonal cocktails, local beers, and unique desserts.
“Manayunk’s Restaurant Week is a celebration of our thriving dining scene,” said Gwen McCauley, Executive Director of the Manayunk Development Corporation. “It’s the perfect time to try new flavors, support local chefs, and experience the heart of our community.”
Local restaurateurs say the event is as much about community as it is about cuisine. “Rather than competing, we’re working together to make the pie bigger,” said Brendan McGrew, Director of Operations for Voracious Hospitality Group, which operates The Goat’s Beard and Mia Ragazza.
With historic Main Street as the backdrop, visitors can enjoy indoor and outdoor dining while exploring Manayunk’s shops, bars, and scenic canal views.
