If the chance to win the Super Bowl on his 28th birthday wasn't enough, Saquon Barkley can unlock additional contractual incentives with a victory Sunday.

Barkley has a clause in his contract that says if he rushes for 1,000 yards during the regular season and the Eagles win the Super Bowl, he earns an additional $250,000. Obviously, he easily cleared the first hurdle, setting a franchise record with 2,005 rushing yards during the regular season. With a win Sunday over the Kansas City Chiefs, he would satisfy the second part.

Named the Offensive Player of the Year at Thursday's NFL Honors, Barkley has already unlocked the following incentives with his performance this season on top of his $14.75 base salary:

1. First-Team All-Pro: $500,000

2. 1,500+ scrimmage yards: $250,000

3. 2,000+ scrimmage yards: $250,000

4. 1,000+ rush yards + Conference Championship win: $250,000

Barkley's three-year/$37.5 million contract essentially only guaranteed him two years, and he's massively outperformed the deal in the first season. He would be well within his rights to ask for a new contract this offseason from the Eagles

A Super Bowl victory would all-but assure he gets an adjustment in the offseason, in addition to making him an extra quarter of a million dollars.
