Zack Baun finished off a storybook season with a huge game as part of one of the greatest defensive performances by a team in Super Bowl history.
Baun had seven total tackles in the 40-22 Eagles win over the Kansas City Chiefs, adding in a quarterback hit. His second-quarter interception of Patrick Mahomes deep in Kansas City territory set the Eagles up for a 12-yard pass from Jalen Hurts to A.J. Brown that increased the lead to 24-0:

This followed up a season where Baun moved from outside linebacker to inside linebacker after signing a one-year/$3.5 million free-agent deal to join the Eagles. Baun went from being a relative unknown during four seasons with the New Orleans Saints to a First-Team All-Pro with 151 combined tackles, five forced fumbles and five quarterback hits.
The 28-year-old figures to become significantly richer this offseason after his breakout season, whether that comes via the Eagles franchise tagging him or a massive payday in free agency.
No matter what, his 2024 season will go down as one of the best individual stories in Eagles history.
