Philadelphia is riding high after the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory, and Yards Brewing Company is keeping the celebration going with a surprise release of their latest hometown-inspired beer: Trash Talk IPA. This 6.5% ABV brew is packed with big hops, juicy pineapple flavors, and a crisp, clean finish, embodying the fiery spirit of Philly sports fans—loud, proud, and never backing down.
Inspired by the unapologetic passion of Philadelphia fans, Trash Talk IPA is more than just a drink—it’s a statement. Whether you’re celebrating a big win, calling out a questionable penalty, or just proving your sports knowledge to your crew, this IPA is the ultimate game-day companion.
“Trash Talk IPA is a beer made for this city, built on its determination, passion, and love for the game,” said Yards Co-Founder, Tom Kehoe. “There’s no better time to drop it then now, as the Birds return to the top. This beer was made for moments exactly like this—when Philly shows the world who we are.”
If you want to get your hands on this exclusive brew, don’t wait—Yards is dropping just 100 cases this Thursday, February 13th at their taproom at 500 Spring Garden Street in Northern Liberties. The beer will be available in four-packs of 12oz cans for $8.99, and doors open at 11:30 am on a first-come, first-served basis. At least ten cases will be reserved for Friday’s Super Bowl Parade After Party.
After the Super Bowl Parade on Friday, keep the party going at Yards from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Fans decked out in Eagles green can enjoy select 20oz beers for $6, cocktails and wine for $8, and classic Philly-inspired bites like hummus plates, IPA pretzels, cheesesteak egg rolls, and Philly Wing Pounders at special prices.
Miss out on the limited drop? No worries—Trash Talk IPA will be hitting stores year-round starting in April, so you can enjoy Philly’s boldest new beer whenever the game is on.
