It looks like the Eagles are going to get that invite to the White House after all.
President Trump took questions from the media on Tuesday and one of the queries was about whether or not he would invite the Eagles to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory.

"They will be (extended an invitation), we haven't yet, but they will be," Trump said. "It was a great performance by them. Absolutely they'll be extended that invitation."
Trump then turned to an aide and said, "Would you do that right away?"
"We'll do it right away," Trump said. "We'll do it sometime today. They deserve to be down here and we hope to see them."
The Eagles were quick to debunk reports that started circulating on Monday that the team wasn't planning on going to the White House, simultaneously reaching out to several prominent local and national media entities that they would welcome the opportunity to visit the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl Championship.
It's curious as to why Kleiman would say that several Eagles players would opt out after the organization went out of its way to say it'd be honored to attend a Rose Garden celebration of their win, but who knows, maybe their will be some sort of revolt by some of the players.
And if there is, will Trump disinvite them again?
Tune in next time for the next episode of this unnecessary drama.
