SPS TECHNOLOGIES FIRE

WATCH: police release body cam footage of officers, fire crews responding to SPS Technologies fire

It’s an up-close look at the chaos that ensued after the four-alarm fire ripped through the 600,000 square-foot building

  • Public Safety

Some residents lived within close proximity of the fire at SPS Technologies to witness the disaster in real time. And most people saw the footage unfolding on television, followed by the shock and seeing the devastation of the aftermath.

Throughout the six days that the fire burned, most people only got to see glimpses of what the outside of the building looked like as the fire tore through the facility.

Recently, police released body cam footage as officers and fire companies responded to the scene. It’s an up-close look at the chaos that ensued after the four-alarm fire ripped through the 600,000 square-foot building.

Additionally, Abington Township has released a video with the agencies and the radio message placing the fire under control by Deputy Chief Jon Gerhard of the Weldon Fire Company.
