Jalen Hurts (concussion) is back at practice Wednesday, an encouraging sign that he will be under center for the Eagles when they host the Green Bay Packers Sunday afternoon in the Wild Card Round.
Jalen Hurts is slated to be at #Eagles practice today, sources said. A notable step forward as the QB works his way out of concussion protocol and prepares to start in Sunday’s first round playoff game vs. the Packers.
Nick Sirianni — according to Brandon Lee Gowton of Bleeding Green Nation — didn't reveal what Hurts' status on the injury report will be, or whether he'll have any limitations in Wednesday's practice. Hurts returning to practice doesn't mean he's entirely cleared concussion protocol yet, but it suggests he will do so before Sunday's playoff game.
Hurts sustained a concussion in the first quarter of Week 16's loss to the Washington Commanders, and then didn't play in either of the final two games of the season against the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants:

Across parts of 15 games this season, Hurts tossed 18 touchdowns to five interceptions, racking up 2,903 passing yards in a year where the Eagles often leaned on the running prowess of likely Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley. Hurts also rushed for 630 yards and 14 touchdowns, the bulk of which came on "the Tush Push."
Hurts has started five playoff games with the Eagles, who have a 2-3 record over those games. In his playoff career, Hurts has five touchdown passes and five rushing touchdowns.
The Eagles are currently 4 1/2-point home favorites over the Packers Sunday afternoon, with the belief having been all along that Hurts will play.
