A Woodstown, N.J. woman who used to be a part-owner of a popular recreation facility for children, has been charged in connection with the sexual assault of a minor.
Tara Carr, 46, who is a former part-owner of the Rastelli Kids Complex in Deptford Township, N.J. and was a director at Camp Sam, one of the summer camps at the complex, was booked last Thursday in Salem County on charges of sexual assault of a minor, endangering sexual conduct with a child and luring or enticing a child.
According to a report by 6ABC, the encounters between Carr and the 14-year-old mostly occurred in a vehicle in Marlton Park in Pilesgrove, N.J. but that Carr would also send him photos or videos of herself while naked through the social media platform Snapchat.
According to the report, Carr stepped down from all roles at the camp and the complex last year, before the start of the summer camps.
Police were first notified of these allegations against Carr last May.
The recreation facility is also the home of the South Jersey Storm, a well-known cheerleading program that has participants from all over the Philadelphia area.
Carr has never had any involvement with the cheerleading program.
