An early morning blaze collapsed at least three row homes and impacted at least five homes in total on the 1900 block of West Bristol Street in the Nicetown neighborhood of Philadelphia.

Firefighters answered the call at 4:48 a.m. on Sunday. It was reported that within 10 minutes, the three row homes collapsed.

Two women who lived in the row homes were injured during the collapse; one is reported to be in critical condition, while the other is stable. A third woman was found dead in the rubble.

The injuries sustained by the 82-year-old and a 63-year-old were reported to be smoke inhalation and burns caused by the fire.

Neighbors reported hearing a loud bang during the incident, which has caused suspicion of a potential explosion.

10 people in the surrounding area have been evacuated.

An investigation into the serious incident is ongoing.
