We’re excited to announce that Mike Nappi has received the most votes in our Authentic Philly Fan Contest, with significant support.
Mike’s story is the definition of what it means to be an Eagles fan. His father was his biggest supporter, and they always dreamed of going to an Eagles game together. Unfortunately, Mike’s father passed away before they could make that happen. But Mike kept his promise—he brought his father’s ashes with him to the Eagles vs. Cowboys game, making sure they got to experience the game together, just like they always planned.
That night was unforgettable: the Eagles clinched the NFC East Championship, and Saquon Barkley had a record-breaking performance, rushing for 2,000 yards and thrilling fans all around.
Mike’s love for the Eagles goes beyond attending a game. He’s also a local musician and the creator of "The Bird Call," the viral Eagles anthem that became a fan favorite and pumped up the crowd all season long.
The Authentic Philly Fan Contest invited fans to share their most passionate fan stories and what makes them truly Philly. Check out Mike’s contest entry here, as well as some of the other amazing entries: https://phillydaily.com/Authentic_Philly/#/rounds/1/gallery/
