Police continue to search for the shooter in a fatal incident that occurred on March 3, which took the life of an 18-year-old on a southwest Philadelphia playground.
According to an article in The Philadelphia Inquirer, units from the Philadelphia Police Department responded to a 911 call on Monday night, just before 9 p.m. calling them to the Russell DeRitis Playground, located at 5655 Grays Ave. Police said there they found Anthony Jerome Sharpe Jr., 18, of Smyrna, Del., lying dead next to a jungle gym.
Reports showed that the victim had sustained multiple shots and had wounds to the face, head, back, and torso. The incident was captured on police surveillance cameras nearby.
