If you're someone who has been holding onto a cable bundle just to watch Phillies games on NBC Sports Philadelphia, it's been a pretty great week for you.
Earlier this week, it was announced that you can now purchase an NBC Sports Philadelphia add-on to your Peacock subscription, which allows you to watch the channel — the TV home of the Phillies, Sixers and Flyers — for $24.95 per month. That price is on top of a Peacock subscription, with the cheapest monthly plan costing $7.99 per month.

But that won't be the only direct-to-consumer option available for Phillies fans this season.
It took 23 years, but you will now be able to stream Phillies games on MLB.TV even if you are in the local market:
"Major League Baseball and NBC Sports Regional Networks announced a new partnership today to stream games direct-to-consumers for three MLB Clubs: Athletics (NBC Sports California), Giants (NBC Sports Bay Area), and Phillies (NBC Sports Philadelphia) – through MLB.TV during the 2025 season. Fans in the Clubs’ home territories can now watch the networks’ game coverage live and on demand with live pre- and post-game shows through the league’s streaming service, which is now entering its 23rd season."
If you just want to watch Phillies games on MLB.TV, that will cost $24.99 per month. However, you can pay $44.99 a month and have access to all locally broadcast MLB games on MLB.TV.
It should be noted that exclusive national broadcasts — such as ones on ESPN, Apple TV, FOX and Roku — will not be eligible to be watched on MLB.TV. But 149 of the 162 regular-season games are currently slated to be on NBC Sports Philadelphia, NBC Sports Philadelphia+ or NBC 10, so the overwhelming majority of games will be eligible to be watched on MLB.TV this season, if you're a subscriber.
