There are ten Phillies pitchers in history with a career ERA under 3.50 at Citizens Bank Park. (Minimum 100 innings pitched, regular season only.)
Three of the ten are in the 2025 Phils rotation, which bodes well for the upcoming season:
- Zack Wheeler (2nd place, 2.63 ERA)
- Cristopher Sanchez (5th place, 3.12 ERA)
- Aaron Nola (7th place, 3.21 ERA)

- Cliff Lee (3rd place, 2.84 ERA)
- Roy Oswalt (4th place, 3.02 ERA)
- Roy Halladay (6th place, 3.19 ERA)
- Cole Hamels (9th place, 3.26 ERA)

Hints: All three are relievers. All three are no longer with the team. And all three were probably better than you remember.
Here are two of them:
- Seranthony Dominguez (8th place, 3.22 ERA)
- Chad Durbin (10th place, 3.38 ERA)
Can you guess the pitcher in first place yet?
One last hint: He once choked out Bryce Harper in an MLB dugout.
- Jonathan Papelbon (1st place, 2.47 ERA)

Papelbon is not only the Phillies' Citizens Bank Park ERA king, but he's also the franchise's all-time saves leader with 123.
Sure, he had an advantage over the starting pitchers on this list by throwing only an inning or so at a time. But so did a lot of other guys, and Papelbon remains the only player ahead of Zack Wheeler:
If we include non-Phillies on the list, Max Scherzer takes over the top spot, with a 2.22 ERA at Citizens Bank Park in his career.
