The infamous Nick Castellanos/Ben Simmons house has sold, perhaps to another athlete

A Moorestown, NJ mansion that's previously been home to both Nick Castellanos and Ben Simmons has reportedly sold, although the identity of the new buyer is unclear.

According to Ryan Mulligan of The Philadelphia Business JournalH/T Coggin Toboggan of Crossing Broad — the house, which has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, sold for $4.89 million.

Interestingly, Naoji Moriuchi — who was the listing agent — told Mulligan that while all boxes were checked to ensure a legitimate sale, all that's known is that the house was purchased by "Half Dozen LLC."

"We actually don't know for certain who the person that bought it was, so there's still this mystery around who is this buyer," Moriuchi said, adding that "we do think that it is another athlete."

Let's brainstorm around who could be operating under the name "Half Dozen LLC." The Phillies haven't had anyone wear No. 6 since Ryan Howard last played in 2016. No. 6 is, of course, retired by the Sixers in honor of Julius Erving. That leaves Travis Sanheim and DeVonta Smith as the two No. 6's among the four major sports teams in Philly right now.

It's also possible that the realtor's educated guess is incorrect, and that Half Dozen LLC is owned by someone outside the sports world. According to Mulligan, " a notice of settlement filed in Burlington County lists the offices of law firm Archer & Greiner PC as an address for the LLC," but there were no further details available. Perhaps this is someone who is wealthy from outside the sports world, but wishes to remain anonymous given the lore around this residence.

Then again, if you yourself weren't a particularly superstitious athlete but wanted to keep it on the down low that you had purchased a specific house, this would be the one where you might try to remain anonymous.
