You won't see Bryce Harper wearing Nike products any time soon.

The two-time NL MVP announced in an Instagram post Tuesday morning that he's agreed to a new contract to remain with Under Armour:

Harper issued the following statement through Under Armour.

“Under Armour has been part of my baseball career and journey for 15 years, and that’s not changing,” Harper said. “I am proud to continue partnering with Under Armour on the longest-running active signature series footwear in baseball history. I look forward to this next chapter as we continue to push the limits of what’s possible!"

Harper caused a bit of a stir last Friday when he revealed in the comment section of a TikTok — one where he was wearing Travis Scott Air Jordans, which are made by Nike — that he was an apparel free agent:

However, OnPattison reported Sunday that Harper's camp and Under Armour remained in negotiations on a new deal, with their prior contract having expired at the end of the calendar year of 2025. As it turned out, the two sides must have been pretty far down the line in talks, because less than 48 hours later, a new contract is in place. Terms of the deal have not been made public.

Under Armour says that Harper's next signature cleat will be released in February.
