The Eagles are bolstering their wide receiving corps yet again, this time signing five-year veteran Elijah Moore to a one-year deal, according to multiple reports.
This will be the fifth team for the 5-foot-10, 180-pound Moore, who played nine games for the Buffalo Bills last season before being waived. He then signed on with the Denver Broncos practice squad and saw no games with the team.
A second-round pick of the New York Jets out of Mississippi in 2021, the 25-year-old Moore has played in 70 NFL games with 209 receptions for 2,274 yards and nine touchdowns. He had five touchdowns in his rookie season with the Jets, and combined for 120 catches and 1,178 yards in two seasons with the Cleveland Browns from 2023-2024.
Last week, the team signed Marquise "Hollywood" Brown to a one-year, $6.5 million deal. The 5-foot-9, 180-pound Brown, who is 28, had 49 receptions for 587 yards and five touchdowns last season with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has 33 career TDs during stints with the Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals and Chiefs.
Moore adds more insurance for general manager Howie Roseman at the receiving position, as the future of A.J. Brown with the team still remains unknown.
