Originally from Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, Kate is a rising senior at Syracuse University and works on the news staff at the Daily Orange, the student-run newspaper. She is currently pursuing a dual bachelor's degree in news journalism and international relations at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
